Potbank is an early-stage concept for a public, crowdsourced pothole map. No reporting tool, map, or leaderboard exists yet — this page describes an idea and an associated proposed token, not a live product.
How it works
Everyone has hit a pothole and had nowhere public to point when complaining about it. Potbank imagines a simple loop: photograph a pothole, drop a geo-pin, and let that pin become part of a public record anyone can see. This is a design intention, not a built feature.
Pin clustering into street-level severity scores, a weekly leaderboard, a 'regional captain' role, and a red-to-green fixed status are all PROPOSED concepts. None of them exist today — there is no app, no map, no dataset, and no moderation or verification workflow.
Potbank does not represent any city or government. It cannot fix a pothole, guarantee repair, or promise that a reported pin will ever be reviewed by an authority. Even if built, it would remain a visibility layer, not a repair service.
$PTBK is the proposed token associated with the experiment. It is not equity, revenue share, ownership, governance, access to nonpublic information, a discount or a guaranteed service.
The honest boundary
The token has no claim on repairs, city budgets, or any real-world outcome — it's a speculative cultural asset tied to the attention and growth of the public map, not a service or governance right over it.
We do not fix potholes, do not represent any city or government, and make no promise that reported potholes will ever be repaired — this is purely a public visibility layer built from crowdsourced reports.

The concept envisions anyone with a phone camera and GPS — drivers, cyclists, delivery riders, residents — contributing pins in their own city, with no language barrier since the core action is a photo and a location. This is a design goal, not a current capability.
